Deloitte recently surveyed 7,700 millennials across 29 countries to learn more about their values and ambitions, drivers of job satisfaction, and their increasing representation in senior management teams. The key takeaway: Employers have a loyalty challenge that they must overcome to be successful.
So what is the loyalty challenge?
Millennials represent the largest share of the U.S. labor market, many of which hold senior roles, so driving job satisfaction among them is critical to your company’s bottom line. But the truth is, most millennials have little to no loyalty to their current employers and are planning their exit. In fact two-thirds expressed a desire to leave their organizations by 2020.
The results from Rapt Media’s recent survey of 400 employees couldn’t agree more. Our research found that 69 percent of employees are open to other opportunities or already seeking their next job.
