Today, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of Storytelling 2.0,” a first-of-its-kind interactive video series, which allows users to interact with a behind-the-scenes view of how Rapt Media, its customers, and its partners are using interactive video for their own marketing efforts.

“Like every company, to make our vision a reality we have some serious business decisions to make, and the challenges that we’re facing here at Rapt Media are probably very similar to the challenges you’re facing inside your own marketing department or at your agency,” said Rapt Media CEO and Co-Founder Erika Trautman in the first episode, “Hello, World. Welcome to Rapt Media.

Over the next several months we’re going to show you how we tackle these issues using data, technology, and creativity. With each episode, viewers will have the  opportunity to dive deeper into understanding the “next wave of storytelling” by interacting with the technology itself. Meta, we know.

So what exactly is the next wave of storytelling?

It’s video storytelling that’s technology-based, interactive, personalized, mobile-ready, and data-rich. The twist with “Storytelling 2.0” is that our approach includes documenting our own use of interactive video for our own brand awareness, lead generation, marketing automation, and website efforts. Our plan with the series is to eventually feature various use cases created by other agencies, brands, and media companies using interactive video, in addition to covering some of the big trend topics in the space of technology, creativity, and data.

Episodes 1-3 synopsis:

The first few episodes of “Storytelling 2.0” introduce viewers to Rapt Media’s interactive video technology, the founders, their vision, the team behind Rapt Media, and what it’s like to work at a tech startup in Boulder, Colorado. Viewers will also have the opportunity to join Rapt Media as we decide whether to hire agencies to help with our marketing efforts, or to do everything in-house ourselves – uncovering the pros and cons of each option. Finally, viewers will learn first-hand from one digital agency about what it’s like being an early adopter of new technology.

So, what are you waiting for? Click, watch, and learn with Rapt Media’s “Storytelling 2.0,” interactive video series.
